Kulturministeriet – Stopmatchfixing Campaign

Unemployed Sports Stars – Stopmatchfixing

CHALLENGE

The goal of the campaign was to spread info and guidelines on how to stop matchfixing to as many sports athletes as possible. The budget was too small for a national TV campaign, so we had to rely on organic reach and virality on social media.

SOLUTION

Several Danish sports stars were ambassadors for the campaign. We used the sports stars and elaborated on the idea of what would happen if matchfixing made all sports stars unemployed. We made a comic video about sports stars that had to participate in TV programs to make a living.

RESULT

The resulting video went viral on Facbook, getting over 300,000 views, over 700 shares and over 1,400 likes during the first week. The Danish Ministry of Culture stated that it was the most successful campaign video.

Hans-Kristian Vittinghus interview – Stopmatchfixing

CHALLENGE

The Danish Ministry of Culture wanted an interview of Hans-Kristian Vittinghus who has been contacted by a matchfixer before. This interview will be used on social media and in an extensive program where athletes in sports clubs throughout Denmark are educated on matchfixing.

SOLUTION

All our videos in the Stopmatchfixing campaign have a brown and red color theme. We wanted to continue this theme and do the interview on a rustique location with a homely atmosphere.

RESULT

The video is used for education days in over 200 Danish sports clubs.

Tennis – Stopmatchfixing

CHALLENGE

The goal of the campaign was to spread info and guidelines on how to stop matchfixing to as many sports athletes as possible. The budget was too small for a national TV campaign, so we had to rely on organic reach and virality on social media.

SOLUTION

We focused on showing the thought process an athlete goes through when choosing to participate in matchfixing. The video also shows that matchfixing may kill the sport resulting in empty stadions and no audience participation.

RESULT

The video was shared on Facebook receiving moderate audience attention.
